Regarding Freeland Systems

October 2, 2009

Dear Customer,

In September Kardia’s Board of Directors filed a lawsuit against Freeland Systems and various individuals alleging fraud in the sale of certain assets to Kardia Health Systems. Since that time, Kardia has learned that certain inaccurate statements about Kardia’s products have been published.

Kardia Health Systems continues to develop, maintain, support, market, and sell the AccessPoint PACS solutions and has no intention of withdrawing these products from the market. Kardia Health Systems retains the team that has developed, maintained, supported and sold AccessPoint and all of Kardia’s products during the past several years. Kardia Health Systems will continue to support and market AccessPoint products.

Kardia Health Systems regrets any concern or distraction that our customers have experienced in the last few weeks. Customers with additional concerns about any of these matters should feel free to contact me directly.

Regards,

Doug Marinaro
